  • The CITMA Paralegal Course is the official qualification for trade mark paralegals, administrators and support staff.

It consists of nine lectures that are delivered by Chartered Trade Mark Attorneys, CITMA Paralegals and other experienced speakers and that are designed to expand your knowledge and understanding of practices within the profession.

The 2018 course starts on Friday 19th January 2018 and concludes with a final exam on Friday 29th June 2018 in London. The lectures take place roughly every two weeks, with an award ceremony in September for those who successfully pass.

You can choose between a traditional classroom-based course, or to watch the lectures online via live webinars. There are however three compulsory lectures, which you must attend in person whichever option you take.

All successful candidates will become eligible to apply for CITMA Paralegal membership. You will also be invited to attend our awards ceremony in September to collect your certificate.

Please note that all those who join our CITMA Paralegal membership from 2018 onwards will be required to complete 8 hours CPD per annum (up to 4 hours of which can be personal study) starting in 2019.
