Recent trade mark decisions are beginning to impact the future of trade mark applications. This will affect many if not all of us.

Join Victoria Jones, 3PB Barristers, as she shares her insights and forecasts at our first Midlands lecture of the year. Victoria will outline what we can now register as a trade mark, and the specifications applied to marks.

She will also offer a review of the CJEU reference in Sky v SkyKick, where the telecoms giant claimed infringement against the cloud management software provider. Understand the impact this has had and how it might change future proceedings.

Victoria’s lecture will go on to cover applications of the new wording of Article 7(1)(e)(iii), and the latest attempts to register marks that push the boundaries of trade mark law.

This promises to be a great evening. Do come along.
