Secure your place at our intensive design seminar - an afternoon of real practical value for Chartered Trade Mark Attorneys and IP lawyers who file designs.
The seminar precedes this year's CITMA Spring Conference and features a host of superb speakers who are experts in this specialist area.
Among the highlights, John Coldham of Gowling WLG, will chair an in-house panel discussion with brands Superdry and Caterpillar, looking at how businesses approach design protection. Tom Sharman of Reddie & Grose will offer a practitioner’s perspective, focusing on UK filing numbers since the country joined the Hague System, based on his experience at the various national offices.
Other speakers include appointed person Daniel Alexander QC, as well as senior members of the UKIPO and WIPO, providing their views on an array of subjects, most notably Brexit, currently due to come into effect just over two weeks after the seminar. We are also pleased to welcome The Hon Mr Justice Richard Arnold, who will address the effect of descriptions and representations on the scope of protection of designs.
The afternoon concludes with drinks nearby at Brigade Bar + Kitchen, London Bridge where you will join CITMA Spring Conference delegates to celebrate the start of the 2019 conference. A great opportunity to network with national and international attorneys, solicitors, barristers and support service providers.
