The CITMA Paralegal Course is the official qualification for trade mark paralegals.

This year's course is now full and closed for registration. Useful information on the content, format and cost of this year's course is set out below. Further details on next year's course will be available in 2020.

What you’ll gain

This broad course will teach you the legal basis of trade marks and the practical aspects in managing trade mark portfolios.

Learn from experienced Chartered Trade Mark Attorneys and CITMA Paralegals about searching, filing, oppositions, maintenance of trade marks in the UK and abroad, and more.

You’ll also have plenty of opportunities to enjoy time with fascinating people and grow your professional network.

Becoming qualified

If you pass the written exam in London in April 2020, you’ll gain a nationally recognised qualification and be able to become a CITMA member and call yourself a CITMA Paralegal. This will unlock the door to our continuing professional development (CPD) scheme, where you can enhance your development and maintain your standards.

We’ll invite successful students to receive their certificate at a ceremony in London.
