We have some 1,500 members with an interest in intellectual property from a range of disciplines.

Our members benefit from the opportunities to connect, to be stronger together, to be informed and to be outstanding. Take a look at our benefits page to find out more about what you set to gain by being a member.

We have nine categories of membership. To help you understand which type of membership is most suitable for you we have outlined these below.

When applying for membership you will need to have the informed support of corporate members - these are members in ordinary, fellow and corporate honorary categories. You can search for members using our search tool.

Once you submit your application it goes forward to CITMA’s council which approves new members – you will hear the result of your application for membership within two weeks.

Our membership runs across the calendar year. If joining part-way through the year you will pay a pro-rata fee for the remaining months - this is automatically calculated on your application form. When you apply please have a credit or debit card ready, as this is our preferred method of payment.
