IPO appoints Companies House boss as Chief Executive

The UK’s Intellectual Property Office (IPO) has appointed Tim Moss as its new Chief Executive. He is expected to take up the post at the beginning of May

Tim has been the Registrar of Companies for England and Wales and Chief Executive of Companies House since March 2012.

He joined Companies House in 2002 and has held many senior positions within the organisation. His extensive work portfolio includes leading on the digital agenda, operational delivery, business strategy and corporate policy.

Before joining Companies House he spent 12 years in senior operational roles in the manufacturing industry.
