New Council members announced
Seven members have been elected to our governing Council.
The nomination period for election to our Council for 2021-2023 closed on 23rd February 2021. Seven nominations were received for the seven available places, meaning that an election was not required.
The members who will formally be declared elected at our Annual General Meeting on 24th March 2021 are:
- Triona Desmond - Pinsent Masons LLP
- Leanne Hall - Serjeants LLP
- Jade MacIntytre - Allen & Overy LLP
- Sharon Mackison - Lawrie IP
- Carol Nyahasha - Baron Warren Redfern
- Catherine Wolfe - Boult Wade Tennant LLP
- Kathy Wright - Astellas Pharma Europe Ltd
Those elected will join the 13 existing Council members to make a 20-person Council.
Sharon Mackison and Carol Nyahasha will be joining our Council for the first time, the other five who were nominated are currently serving on our Council and were seeking re-election.
Council is our governing body and meets six times a year to review and set the strategic direction of CITMA. Council members have the opportunity to input into high-level discussions on the strategy and future direction of CITMA.
Annual General Meeting
Our AGM will be held alongside the CITMA Benevolent Fund AGM on 24th March 2021.
All Ordinary members and Fellows are entitled to vote at both AGMs. All other members are entitled to vote at the CITMA Benevolent Fund AGM.
