19th Feb 2019

Two CITMA Paralegals have been shortlisted as finalists in the 2019 National Paralegal Awards.

Roy Scott

Roy Scott (pictured), from Keltie and Rebecca McBride of Pinsent Masons are on the final shortlist of three in the trade mark paralegal category.

The awards showcase and celebrate paralegal talent from across the UK. They are organised by the Professional Paralegal Register.

Both Rebecca and Roy are involved with CITMA. Rebecca is the CITMA Paralegal representative on CITMA Council and is active on a number of committees and working groups. Roy sits on the CITMA Paralegal Course and paralegal events working groups.

The winners will be announced on 29th March 2019 at a special ‘black tie’ ceremony at the five star Mayfair Hotel in London. All finalists will receive a certificate and recognition for their success.

Roy Scott said: “I feel overwhelmed and extremely happy to be shortlisted. But more importantly I am thankful that the role of a trade mark paralegal has been highlighted in this way.”

Rebecca McBride said: “It’s an honour to be the only female finalist and I am proud to receive recognition for my hard work, enthusiasm and contribution to the industry.

“To receive recognition from outside my firm is truly something great and I am very excited and appreciative to have been shortlisted.”
