Oliver works with clients across a range of industries and sectors, including chemicals, cosmetics, education, engineering, entertainment, estate agents, finance, food & drink, hospitality, medicine, music production, professional services, retail, software developers, and travel and tourism.

He has experience of handling the prosecution of UK and EU trade mark applications, and dealing with issues such as absolute and relative grounds objections. Oliver also has experience of prosecution matters in numerous overseas jurisdictions in the Americas and Asia.

In addition to prosecution work, Oliver assists with preparing and executing search/filing strategies, advising on contentious matters such as opposition/invalidity proceedings, non-use revocation proceedings, infringement and passing-off.

In 2019, Oliver was awarded Director’s Prizes for attaining the highest marks in the UK in the trade mark modules of the Postgraduate Certificate in Trade Mark Law and Practice at Queen Mary University of London.
