CITMA Council election results 2023
Eight members have been elected to sit on our governing Council for the next two years following a contested election.
Ordinary members and Fellows of CITMA were eligible to vote to fill the eight vacant Council positions from 11 candidates who were nominated.
The eight members who received the most votes and are therefore elected for the 2023-25 period are:
- Ian Bartlett, Beck Greener
- Triona Desmond, Pinsent Masons
- Leanne Hall, Serjeants
- Jade MacIntyre, Deloitte
- Carol Nyahasha, Elkington + Fife
- Sharon Mackison, Lawrie IP
- Catherine Wolfe, Boult Wade Tennant
- Kathy Wright, Astellas
Jorandi Daneel, Gifty Gakpetor and Charlotte Wilding received the fewest votes and are therefore not elected.
The eight newly elected members will join those who were elected in 2022 to form a 20-person Council for the next year.
Council is our governing body and meets six times a year to review and set the strategic direction of CITMA.
Council formally elects new members of CITMA and makes the final decision on policy and strategic matters.
Our President, the First Vice-President and the Second Vice-President/Treasurer are elected from among members of Council.
The current role holders, Rachel Wilkinson-Duffy, Kelly Saliger and Daniel Hardman-Smart, are one year into their two-year terms in the role.
