Claire helps clients to protect and enforce their trade marks. Her experience over 15 years means that she can assist clients from initial conceptualisation. She believes that each client is important, whether they are a start- up or an international company with a large IP portfolio.
Claire’s work encompasses a wide variety of industries, with a particular passion for protecting IP in the food, drinks and retail sectors.
Claire’s practice includes pre-filing and strategy advice, filing and prosecution, portfolio management and contentious matters. Claire has considerable experience in trade mark law and practice across the African continent.
Claire completed the Trade Mark Law and Practice Certificate at Queen Mary’s University of London and the Professional Certificate in Trade Mark Practice at Nottingham Trent University qualifying as a chartered trade mark attorney in 2024. She is also a qualified South African Trade Mark Practitioner, Attorney, Conveyancer and Notary Public.
