Our members are at the centre of everything we do, and as a member-led organisation we need people like yourself to help drive our work forward.
Committees and working groups are a great way to get involved with the profession in a new way. You will make a meaningful impact to your profession and will grow your reach and experience at the same time.
These opportunities are available to every category of membership. Please note that you do need to be a current member of CITMA to express your interest in one of our groups.

Diversity, Inclusion and Wellbeing Committee
It has just been ratified as a full committee, having been a very active and successful working group for a number of years. It will drive forward our work on diversity, inclusion and wellbeing, working with key partners and advising on initiatives to make our profession better.

Organises webinars and in-person events aimed at educating about and promoting diversity and inclusion in our profession.

The editorial board for our magazine supports the editor, contributing ideas and providing valuable feedback.

Publications & Communications steering group
The driving force behind our communications activity – mainly focused on how we promote our profession. It also oversees how we communicate with members and the wider profession.

Volunteer for our advice clinics - our free clinics are designed for individuals and small businesses who are new to trade marks and need initial advice. If you can spare 30 minutes every couple of months to help a small business with their trade marks, please email [email protected] – note that you need to be a Chartered Trade Mark Attorney or other qualified legal professional to participate.
