Stephen is a dual-qualified patent and trade mark attorney based in Cambridge. Stephen advises a wide range of local and international clients on availability searching and filing strategies. He has a particular interest in helping local start-up companies navigate the trade mark and designs system and protect their brands.
In addition, having previously trained as a barrister, a significant portion of Stephen’s work is on the policing of granted trade mark portfolios and dispute resolution, including domain name and company name disputes. He has conducted several trade mark appeals from the UK IPO in the High Court and before the Appointed Person and also guided numerous clients through pre-action matters to achieve beneficial settlements.
