Alex has a first class honours degree in Chinese from the University of Leeds, and following graduation he worked at the British Embassy in Beijing before joining a London-based firm of Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys, where he first qualified as a Trade Mark Attorney.
Alex maintains a strong interest in matters relating to China and East Asia, and has retained good Chinese language skills. He combines that specialist regional knowledge with broad experience and understanding of IP issues which he uses to assist clients in the UK, EU and beyond.
