Abigail maintains a varied practice that includes both contentious and non-contentious work including oppositions, post-registration challenges and settlement negotiations between parties as well as trade mark infringement, brand protection and anti-counterfeiting matters. Abigail also has experience in dealing with Company Names Tribunal Complaints and UDRP Domain Name Complaints.
Abigail predominantly works with clients based in the UK, EU and US and is frequently involved in commercially important clearance work for her clients as well as strategic advice concerning oppositions and trade mark prosecution. Abigail has also assisted on a number of transactional matters concerning the assignment of trade mark and design registrations and complex Recordal projects in the UK and internationally. Abigail also provides training to Trading Standards & Customs Officers on behalf of her clients as part of their anti-counterfeiting activities.
