126 quizzers across 21 teams gathered at Steam Wine Bar in central London to compete to become 2026’s quizzing champions.

Between raffle ticket sales and the teams’ entry fees, the quiz raised £3,085.

This will be divided between the CITMA Benevolent Fund and the winning team’s chosen charity, Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Made up of eight rounds, the quiz picked our contestants’ brains on a range of topics including events that occurred in 2025 and UK protected geographical names.

The quiz was once again led by former CITMA President Steve James.

The top five teams were:

Beck Greener Without Due Cause 99
Boult Wade Tennant Boult From The Blue 91
Hogarth Chambers Hogs of War 90
Cleveland Scott York On Your Trade Marks, Get Set, Go! 90
Hansel Henson Goodwill Hunting 87
