CITMA Mentoring receives further recognition
We are proud to share that CITMA Mentoring has been shortlisted for Best Learning / Professional Development Programme at the Association Excellence Awards 2025.
This marks another major achievement for our award-winning mentoring platform, which continues to receive recognition for its impact in supporting and connecting members across the profession.
Launched in October 2023, CITMA Mentoring has gone from strength to strength. In the past year, it was nominated for Best Member Support Initiative at the 2024 Association Excellence Awards, and later won Best Member Engagement Award at the Association of British Professional Conference Organisers Awards.
The free platform was developed in response to a growing need for mentoring among newly qualified and student members. It offers a simple and effective way for members to connect, build relationships, and share experience and expertise.
Upon joining, users can create a personalised profile, indicate their areas of interest, and are then matched accordingly – making it easier than ever to start and manage mentoring relationships.
We recently celebrated a major milestone, with over 100 members signed up as mentors, mentees, or both. Among those who have completed their profiles, 72% of mentees have successfully matched with a mentor, and we currently have 24 live relationships, with 18 already completed.

“I’m proud of the recognition the platform continues to achieve and look forward to seeing it further grow and develop.”
The Association Excellence Awards celebrate the essential work of associations, trade bodies, professional organisations, and chartered institutes across the UK. Other award categories include Best Awareness Campaign or Advancement of a Cause and Best New Event by an Association. The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on Friday 7th November in London.
