Skidmore returns as IP Minister
Chris Skidmore MP has returned to the Minister for Intellectual Property role, just over a month after moving government department.
The appointment follows the dramatic resignation of Jo Johnson MP, brother of Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who had been installed into the role in August. Mr Johnson had been in post for a matter of weeks before his resignation.
Minister for IP is part of a large brief for Mr Skidmore in his role as Minister of State for Universities, Science, Research and Innovation.
Mr Skidmore had a brief spell as a minister in the Department of Health and Social Care after a government reshuffle conducted by new Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
