Meet the Speaker
Clara Westbrook is a solicitor with over 20 years’ experience in data protection and commercial law.
With her experience as a senior data privacy lawyer, Clara advises businesses on European and English data protection issues, helping them to navigate this complex area of law in an accessible and commercial way. Businesses are enabled to achieve their objectives in compliance with data protection law and their use of data with the benefit of Clara’s depth and breadth of experience.
Clara has held various high-level positions including Director in the International Privacy Centre of Expertise at WarnerBros Discovery, European Data Protection Counsel at Yum! Brands, Senior Data Protection Counsel at Richemont, Senior Data Privacy counsel, EMEA, at Expedia and founder of data protection consultancy, Westbrook Data Protection Services Limited®
Earlier in her career, Clara was called to the bar and was awarded a scholarship from Lincoln’s Inn for a three-month stage at the Court of Justice of the European Communities in Luxembourg.
