John Linneker is a Partner and Co-Leader of the Intellectual Property Group at Fieldfisher specialising in the fields of trademarks, copyright, patents, designs, and confidential information.
John has acted on some of the most high profile intellectual property disputes to come before the English courts in recent years, including the recent February 2018 trademark judgment in Sky plc v SkyKick Inc [2018] EWHC 155, the Supreme Court patent decision in Schütz GmbH v Werit UK Limited [2013] EWCA 6 and a dispute on the ownership of the "Lotus" brand in Formula One Motor racing Group Lotus plc v 1 Malaysia Racing Team [2011] EWHC 1366.
