CITMA takes on this year’s London Legal Walk

18th May 2026

We’re delighted to be taking part in the London Legal Walk this June to raise vital funds for the London Legal Support Trust.

On Tuesday 9th June, we’ll be taking on the 10km challenge to help those in need gain access to life-changing free legal advice. Please click here to go to our fundraising page.

We’ll be facing the challenge alongside 15,000 other walkers, including members of advice agencies, chambers, judiciary, law firms, and the Lady Chief Justice. Last year, the 21st London Legal Walk raised over £1,000,000, which enabled thousands of people to access justice.

The London Legal Support Trust is an independent charity that raises crucial funds for free legal advice services in London and the South East. They provide grant funding, support the infrastructure of the sector, and help agencies reduce costs and save money through pro bono and discounted schemes.

Through the London Legal Walk specifically, over 100 free legal advice charities are supported each year.

Many people across the UK cannot afford legal help and are at risk of going without justice when they need it most. As the cost of living rises, the need for this support is now greater than ever. Around 14 million people in the UK (21%) are currently living in poverty.

Free legal advice charities make a huge difference to people's lives, reducing debt, poverty and homelessness, and combating discrimination and injustice.

We’re proud to play our part to ensure that legal support remains accessible.

With just a few weeks to go, we’d be incredibly grateful for any support you can give. Every donation helps free legal advice charities continue providing essential services to people in crisis.
