Edinburgh quiz champions
The team from Brodies LLP triumphed at our quiz in Edinburgh last week.
With storm Doris blowing a gale outside, eight teams took shelter in the Voodoo Rooms for the quiz. The teams coming from Brodies, Burness Paull, Marks and Clerk, RBS, Pinsent Masons, Creation IP, and Maclay Murray and Spens.
Quizmaster Colin Cruickshank put the teams through their paces with questions covering history, law and geography. As well as a round in which teams had to identify films titles from code derived from the periodic table of chemical elements.
After a two and half hour quiz, fuelled by food and refreshments, the winning team was from Brodies with the name ‘WIPO the floor with them'. It was a close run battle with the RBS ‘IP IQ’ team coming a close second.
