Designed to help break down the barriers that can often prevent individuals from seeking support, the growing collection of short, accessible videos covers a range of mental health and wellbeing topics relevant to those working in IP.

By tailoring the content to the specific pressures and challenges faced in the IP sector, Jonathan’s Voice aims to provide time-efficient support that promotes mental health awareness and combats stigma.

The initiative has launched with a four-part series on stress, presented by Mental Health Consultant and Trainer for Jonathan’s Voice, Penelope Aspinall. The videos explore the body’s stress response, common stress triggers within the IP profession, and practical self-care habits for managing stress effectively.

The charity aims to release new videos approximately every two weeks, with upcoming topics including procrastination, imposter syndrome, mindfulness, and hormonal health.

Speaking about the initiative, Jonathan’s Voice said, “Mental health matters. Yet, despite growing awareness, the stigma around discussing mental wellbeing, especially in professional contexts, remains a significant barrier.

“This initiative offers a private, accessible, and practical way for individuals to engage with mental health content in their own time.”
