Rebecca beat fellow CITMA Paralegal Roy Scott and Peter Fisher from CP Law Associates to pick up the prestigious industry prize.

The awards showcase and celebrate paralegal talent from across the UK. They are organised by the Professional Paralegal Register. Rebecca is the first winner of a National Paralegal Award specifically for the trade mark legal sector.

Rebecca is the CITMA Paralegal representative on CITMA Council and is active on a number of committees and working groups. She is a trade mark paralegal at Pinsent Masons LLP.

The winners were announced on 29th March 2019 at a special ‘black tie’ ceremony at the five star Mayfair Hotel in London. All finalists received a certificate and recognition for their success.

After picking up the trophy, Rebecca said: “Collecting the award was exciting, I felt an enormous sense of achievement and honour to be the first winner of the award.

“It means so much to receive external recognition for my hard work, enthusiasm and contribution to the trade mark industry.

“I would like to thank the University of Hertfordshire - particularly my IP Lecturer Miles Hurley, my team at Pinsent Masons LLP - especially Iain Connor and Florian Traub, and everyone at CITMA, for always being supportive.”
