New student and paralegal representatives
New student and CITMA Paralegal representatives have been selected to join our Council.

The representatives offer both categories a greater voice in the strategic direction.

Eve Brown, a trainee from Marks and Clerk, has been elected as the new student representative succeeding Becky Knott, from Barker Brettell, who has been the student representative on Council for the past two years.

Kane Ridley, from Keltie LLP, has been elected as the new CITMA Paralegal representative succeeding Rebecca McBride, from Mishcon de Reya LLP, who has served as the CITMA Paralegal representative on Council for the past two years.
Both Eve and Kane will sit on Council to help shape the future of CITMA and the wider intellectual property community for a two-year term.
The positions are designed to offer more diversity and a broader representation of the membership on the Council. Although the representatives have no formal voting rights, they will engage with and be able to directly influence the discussions and decision-making process.
