CITMA Paralegal representative

Kane Ridley of Abion has been re-elected as CITMA Paralegal representative, having secured 49% of the votes cast by CITMA Paralegal members.

This marks Kane’s third consecutive term in the role. Kane’s experience and continued commitment to representing the paralegal community within CITMA will be invaluable as he continues in this important position.

The CITMA Paralegal representative is elected by CITMA Paralegal members.

Student representative

We're delighted to welcome Mark Dainty of Edwin Coe as our new student representative. He takes over the role from April Parker.

Mark will play an important role in representing the interests of our student members, helping to shape the support and opportunities for the next generation of Chartered Trade Mark Attorneys.

Although not directly elected by members, the student representative was selected through a competitive process.

The roles

Both Kane and Mark will attend CITMA Council meetings, placing them at the heart of our governance.

While neither role carries a voting position, both representatives have the opportunity to influence Council discussions and contribute meaningfully to its work.

At each Council meeting, they present a report on behalf of their respective communities, ensuring that the perspectives and priorities of paralegals and students are heard directly by CITMA's governing body.

They are genuinely impactful roles, and a vital part of how we continue to be connected to members in every part of the profession.
