Ready, set, trade marks: Our sport campaign is live
We have launched a new content-led campaign exploring the vital role of trade marks, and your expertise, in the sport sector.
Sport provides us with some of the most vivid examples of intellectual property in action, and this latest campaign, IP lessons from the world of sport, brings them together in one dedicated hub space on our website.
From darts champions to Hollywood
The hub launches with a series of expert articles, including:
- How sporting stars like Luke Littler and Cole Palmer are protecting their identity in the age of AI
- What Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney's Wrexham takeover reveals about building a club's brand
- Sponsorship and licensing lessons from the F1 paddock
- The marketing tactics seen at this summer's FIFA World Cup
We’ll also be adding video content to the hub very soon, so watch this space.
Raising the profile of the IP profession
Through this campaign, we aim to reach medium to large businesses and highlight the importance of protecting their IP and seeking the advice of a Chartered Trade Mark Attorney.
Sport is the latest addition to a growing library of campaigns, following our fashion, food & drink and film & TV hubs. Each one demonstrating the valuable role a trade mark professional plays in supporting businesses.
How to support the campaign
We will continue to grow the hub, adding further articles and video content over time. If you have an idea or case study from the world of sport that you'd like to share, please get in touch: [email protected].
You can also support the campaign by sharing our posts on Facebook and LinkedIn with your networks.
