Urquhart-Dykes & Lord LLP retains quiz crown
The team from Urquhart-Dykes & Lord LLP retained its ITMA charity quiz night title, fending off competition from 21 other firms in a night that raised over a thousand pounds for charity
‘The Sixth Form Leavers’ took the title at the finishing post with an impressive full-marks score of 20 in the final round. Greenberg Traurig Maher LLP finished in second place, and Beck Greener third.
The evening raised £1,757, including some £650 from a raffle which teams generously donated prizes to. The money raised on the night will be split between the ITMA Benevolent Fund and the winning team’s charity, Magic Breakfast.
The quizmaster, former ITMA President Steve James, put the 130 quizzers present through their paces on topics including food & drink, retirement, music, and cryptic TV programmes.
