Build proficiency and knowledge around the more unusual aspects of evidence directly from a senior UK IPO tribunal hearing officer.

How to challenge evidence and cross examination of witnesses are two of the areas we’ll help you to develop your understanding of.

Oliver Morris, deputy director of the UK IPO’s Tribunal, Trade Marks and Designs Division will also cover when and how you might deal with these evidential issues, and what to expect from the UK IPO when making such requests.

Oliver will also explore strategies to keep costs to a minimum.

Learning outcomes:

  • Knowledge of how to approach and respond to less common situations regarding the use of evidence
  • Expectations of the IPO in relation to these situations
  • How to limit costs while ensuring good outcomes
