CITMA Annual Report 2019
In 2019 we navigated our way through a number of challenges which we are delighted to share with you in this report.
Last year, we remained committed to represent, promote and engage our members and the wider profession.
In 2019, we welcomed 121 new members, bringing the total number to 1,712 members.
We had 70% of all members register for at least one event, which is a significant increase from 2018 (58%).
We also had high levels of take-up for the continuing professional development scheme that was launched for CITMA Paralegals with 77% of eligible members joining the scheme.
Brexit continued to bring uncertainty to the profession. The date the UK would leave the European Union was delayed on more than one occasion. Our Brexit task-force members met with key stakeholders from across the world to fight for the best possible outcome.
