Aidan Robson: Obituary

10th Nov 2020

We are saddened to learn that Chartered Trade Mark Attorney Aidan Robson has passed away.

Aidan Robson

Aidan passed away on 20th September from a heart attack while cycling with friends.

Aidan joined Reddie & Grose immediately after graduating from the University of Oxford in 1987, and then became a partner in 1993.

He was an active member of APAA, INTA, CIPA and CITMA, which lead to him being well-known and respected in the IP profession in the UK and abroad.

Aidan joined CITMA in 1993. You could often find him attending events like our summer reception, Christmas lunch and our conferences.

Jan Vleck, Partner at Reddie & Grose said:

“Aidan was a respected IP practitioner who had a deserved reputation for giving focused commercially helpful advice. He was also a valued and trusted mentor to a number of trainees who have gone onto great things.

“As those who knew Aidan will confirm, he enjoyed an audience and was a natural joke teller. Laughter is something closely associated with Aidan."

Our thoughts and condolences are with his family and friends.
