The IP community's biggest festive gathering is back – and you're invited. This December, join more than 600 IP professionals for an unforgettable event, designed to bring out the very best of our community.  

Our London Christmas Lunch is an unrivalled opportunity to enjoy an afternoon of celebration, connection and exceptional food, all while soaking up the stunning surrounds of the Royal Lancaster London.

This year, you’ll also hear from CITMA President, Daniel Hardman-Smart, as he makes his first Christmas Lunch address.

Making your booking 

The majority of our tables seat ten guests, alongside a limited number of 12-seater tables. 

To ensure you can sit with your colleagues, please book together. Our 12-seater tables are particularly popular and typically sell out within the first few weeks – secure yours now. 

Alternatively, come along as an individual or small group and make new friends on the day. 

If you don't know all your table's guests yet, you can save seats by putting TBC when booking. 

Book early to secure the best ticket prices and your preferred seating arrangements.

What to expect on the day 

12pm – Networking drinks reception in the Nine Kings Suite with a glass of prosecco on arrival 
1pm – Welcome address from CITMA President, Daniel Hardman-Smart in the Westbourne Suite 
1:05pm – Four-course meal 
2:50pm – Awards celebration 
3pm – Drinks reception with cash bar in the Nine Kings Suite 
5pm – Afternoon comes to a close

Ordering your wine in advance guarantees your preferred choice of drink is ready and waiting for you on your table. We will share the pre-order link as soon as it is available. 

Celebrate with your community 

The Christmas Lunch is more than a festive meal. It's an opportunity to celebrate the year’s achievements in the company of colleagues and friends from across the IP community.  

A special part of the afternoon is the presentation of our CITMA Awards, which mark the highest grades achieved by trade mark students in the UK.  

We’ll also present the Sheila Lesley Volunteer of the Year Award, acknowledging the individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to our profession, society, and the work that we do. 

The venue 

We are delighted to be returning to the Royal Lancaster London, a venue that has become synonymous with our Christmas Lunch. 

Year after year, its elegant setting, exceptional hospitality and central London location make it the perfect home for our biggest annual gathering. 

Situated next to Hyde Park and just a short walk from both Paddington and Lancaster Gate stations, it provides the perfect backdrop for an afternoon of festivities.
